The Word Network, established in February of 2000 by Kevin Adell and the late Franklin Z Adell, has become a prominent African-American religious network renowned for its diversified Christian programming. Over the years, it has distinguished itself as a preferred network for African American audiences, showcasing ministries, Christian-focused television content, and gospel music.

Operating from Southfield, Michigan, The Word Network broadcasts its content in over 200 countries worldwide, captivating millions of viewers across Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, and the Americas. In the United States alone, the network is accessible in nearly 93 million households through various cable operators like DirecTV, Comcast, and Time Warner Cable.
